Why?
Kettlebell lifting has a special way of getting you out of your comfort zone. As we lift together, we’ll experience temporary discomfort, count our blessings, and give to others who are in greater need than ourselves.
This frequently leads to us supporting disaster relief or trauma-support organizations.

This year, we are supporting the Mountain State Children's Home right here in Longmont! The goal is to help them seriously upgrade their gym, which they use as a therapy with the kids in their program.

Reaching our full goal of $5,000 helps us get them an additional squat rack, bench, an entry set of competition kettlebells, better organization for their current free weights, as well as rounding out a handful of other department's wish list items.

Any amount helps us do that in increments so whatever we raise will be a success!

What is Long Cycle?
Kettlebell Sport originates in Eastern Europe and has a long tradition. Strength, endurance, power, and technique are necessary physical attributes but are secondary to patience, focus, emotional control, and mental toughness.

No Bell Down is a Long Cycle Marathon. The lifters attempt to get as many correct repetitions as possible within the time limit. As the name of the workout implies, once the bell is put into play, it is not set down on the ground again until the entire 60 minutes is complete!

Supporters
Slinging a kettlebell for an hour is HARD! We can use all the moral support that we can get.
Please feel free to donate via the link in support of your favorite lifter OR drop in anytime and donate in person during the lifting hour (10am-11am) and hang out as long as you like:
The kickoff, halfway, and last quarter are especially fun, but don't forget to encourage your lifter when they're struggling during the lulls, too!

Lifter Registration
All lifters participating in the event are:
Required to register before close of business, Friday, 17 October '25.

Format
There are currently 4 divisions for lifters.
1. Relay Casual (can pass the bell off to one or more relay partners)
2. Solo (must perform most of the set correctly with few errors to earn club Finisher rank)
3. Competitive (invitational; lifters attempt IKMF Rank)
No Bell Down follows International Kettlebell Marathon Federation Rules as closely as possible:
https://www.ikmf-world.com/
If you're on the fence about participating, don't worry! The only REAL rule is don't set the bell down.
